Aherne's is a luxury hotel in Youghal, Cork. We are a family run hotel in the historic walled port of Youghal, on the lovely south East coast of Ireland.

Each of our spacious Bedrooms and Junior Suites have large comfortable beds, pristine private bathrooms and are individually decorated with carefully chosen antique furniture and fitted with traditional crisp white linen to add to the luxury.We have thirteen bedrooms in total including two studio aparttments.

All of our rooms are quiet and relaxing. Three of the ground-floor bedrooms offer easy access, with one specially equipped for wheelchairs. Children's Beds or cot can be provided. Look no further for accommodation in Youghal.

We welcome small dogs to our Studio Apartment rooms which have direct access to the street.

Ahernes lives up to its lofty reputation. The accommodations, food and service are great but it is the friendliness and sincerity of the staff that sets it apart. The location for the town and surrounding area can't be beat. A most pleasant way to spend time in East Cork.

We had a lovely time in Aherne's townhouse and the tasting menu which we had was delicious. Overall the standard of food was very high. I had booked Ahernes as a birthday weekend away and my only complaint, which is quite small in the grand scheme of things was that I had been told that a cake would be provided on the night we had dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was an oversight and there was no mention of my Fiancees birthday despite two other tables in the restaurant having birthday also and being given a cake throughout the night - this further highlighted the fact that we got missed out and my Fiancee was alittle disappointed. Aside from this though, we had a lovely time and would certainly recommend this hotel.
