Ahernes is a small, luxury hotel and seafood restaurant in the historic walled seaside resort of Youghal, on the beautiful south coast of Ireland. Come and stayand enjoy our early bird menu which is available seven days a week.

Our dinner menu is now availble from 6pm-9pm Monday to Sunday and is available all Day in the bar for Sunday lunch!

We had a lovely time in Aherne's townhouse and the tasting menu which we had was delicious. Overall the standard of food was very high. I had booked Ahernes as a birthday weekend away and my only complaint, which is quite small in the grand scheme of things was that I had been told that a cake would be provided on the night we had dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was an oversight and there was no mention of my Fiancees birthday despite two other tables in the restaurant having birthday also and being given a cake throughout the night - this further highlighted the fact that we got missed out and my Fiancee was alittle disappointed. Aside from this though, we had a lovely time and would certainly recommend this hotel.
Had two very relaxing days in Aherne's which were enjoyed by the fact that the Staff were so friendly and made us feel at home immediately. We enjoyed the food especially the FISH was sad to be going home. Will definitely make a return visit.
